Now going out for a movie or to dine is not restricted to weekends alone, as Vodafone has set a fire by providing a VAS service named as “Vodafone Tuesdays buy 1 get 1 offer” for its Punjab customers.
Here one can send a message to a Vodafone short code and check what offer he gets for dining or for a movie. He/she will receive a coupon via SMS. All one has to do is to sms 'Tuesday' to 56789 ( Rs 3/SMS ) and receive a reply with all the offers for the upcoming Tuesday.
Select an offer by replying with the appropriate code (Eg: For movies, sms TUESDAY M to 56789) you will receive a discount coupon by SMS, show this discount coupon at the outlet to get your discount.
To note that : Each customer shall be entitled to only 1 coupon for the coming Tuesday for each of the 2 categories – movies and food; All coupons have to be redeemed once on the coming Tuesday before midnight of the day for which it is issued and the customer is required to carry his/her mobile phone with the coupon number to the cinema/retail outlet to avail the offer. The offer cannot be availed of by writing the number on any other document or forwarding to another mobile phone.
