Micromax has come up with a new handset titled "C2i "and "GC700" for Indian consumers. The company claims C2i can offer talktime upto 10 hours, which will change the mind of people who use to avoid CDMA phones which do not offer great battery backup. Now all that could change with the entry of Micromax's new open-market CDMA handset.
The handset tagged as Micromax 'C2i' is a bar-styled handset, weighing just 87g. Micromax C2i comes with a Li-ion 1800mAh battery [Marathon Battery] which offers talktime upto 10 hours and standby time upto 30 days.
The phone also come up with multi format music player and stereo FM radio others feature include :

At the same time Micromax also launched another Java based GSM/CDMA dual handset with the ''Marathon Battery' tagged as GC700 Gravity. The ‘Gravity’ feature uses the motion sensing to change the SIM in use. One can tilt upside down to shift from CDMA to GSM. Other features include:
