eBay India, India’s leading eCommerce marketplace, announced its first mobile app – the eBay iPhone app for India – now available for free download from the iTunes App Store.

The eBay iPhone app allows iPhone & iPod Touch users to shop, browse & compare prices seamlessly on the go as well as log onto their eBay account. The iPhone app allows consumers to browse through over 2 million products before they choose their dream gadget or fashion accessory.

The eBay iPhone App for India offers consumers an enriching eCommerce experience on their mobile phones & is the next step after the launch of the eBay India Mobile Web earlier this year.

Shoppers can search and select their favorite products from over 2 million great deals on products in the electronics, lifestyle, collectible and media categories.

The ‘Search’ & ‘Browse categories’ option lets users look for products they wish to buy. They can then click on the desired product to read its description or details of the seller. To buy the product, users can select the ‘Buy it Now’ option and confirm the purchase by selecting the ‘Commit to Buy’ option.

Payments for purchases can be done online on the www.ebay.in website through eBay India’s secure payment method PaisaPay. All purchases are secure and covered by the eBay Guarantee. Consumers can also access their My eBay account, saved searches as well reminders and messages from eBay.

So, download the eBay iPhone App for India today and enjoy a unique shopping experience anywhere and everywhere!
