Udit Mehrotra, Director, Ubico Networks has bagged the Young Innovative Telecom Entrepreneur Award at the National Telecom Awards 2009.

The Awards were given away by Shri Gurudas Kamat, Hon'ble Minister of State for Communications and IT at a glittering ceremony that was attended by the who's who of the Indian telecom Industry.
At a young age of 29, Udit Mehrotra has carved a niche for himself in the telecom arena because of his deep understanding of the industry and various  path-breaking innovations.




He founded Ubico Networks in early 2007 as an innovation to service the changing real estate and in-building mobile communication landscape in India.

He  conceived Ubico and created India's first independent in-building  infrastructure provider of on-demand mobile coverage for operators.

In his current role, Udit provides strategic guidance and direction to the company. In a short span of just 2 years, his initiative and vision have established  Ubico as the leading name in neutral-host infrastructure providers of in-building and in-campus communications in the  country.Along with Ubico, Udit serves on the Board of Vihaan Networks Limited (VNL) and Citycom Networks.
