MTNL Cuts Additional Broadband Upload Speed Charges by 70 percent

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), Mumbai's largest Broadband and total telecom service provider, today announced massive reduction (approx 70% reduction from exiting tariff) in the Charges of Additional Upload Speed Bandwidth on its Triband (broadband) service.

At present all Broadband customers are given upload speed upto 256Kbps without any charges across all prepaid and postpaid plans.




Now If any MTNL Broadband subscribers (in any tariff plan) require more Upload Bandwidth/ Speed than they can subscribe at add-on monthly fixed charge of Rs.150 for additional 256Kbps (Existing 256 + additional 256) upload bandwidth. Higher upload bandwidth may be given as per the feasibility in multiple of 256 Kbps @ Rs.150 per month.

Earlier the Additional Upload Speed charges was Rs.500/month, which is now reduced to Rs.150 per month.

MTNL provides always ON, faster Connection with dedicated bandwidth of minimum guaranteed 256 Kbps on its ADSL2+ technology. With the Triple Play MTNL Broadband (Triband), subscriber can talk on phone and surf Internet or play on-line game at the same time.MTNL's truly Unlimited Broadband plan starting from Rs.395 without any Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
