Vodafone Idea (Vi) is a much talked about telecom operator these days. Especially because the telco isn’t looking in great shape after the relief package wasn’t announced. Regardless, Vi is providing some prepaid plans that can’t be ignored. Some plans from the telco are seriously so good that they put Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel behind. If Vi could add more users with the help of these plans, it would change the course of the company. For the unaware, Vodafone Idea offers a 3GB daily data plan to the users, which is way better than what Jio is providing to its users. Which plan is it? Let’s find out.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) 3GB Daily Data Plan That’s Better Than Jio’s

Vodafone Idea offers a Rs 901 prepaid plan to the users. The speciality of this plan is not just the amount of data (3GB daily data) that it comes with but also the additional benefits that users get for the price they are paying. The Rs 901 prepaid plan from Vodafone Idea comes with 3GB daily data for 84 days, while Reliance Jio offers the same plan for Rs 999, which is Rs 100 more.

But it is not right to say that 'Jio offers the same plan for Rs 999' because, while Jio also offers 3GB daily data for 84 days, the other benefits offered by the two plans are completely different.

Note that both the plans offer users unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day. But with Vodafone Idea’s Rs 901 plan, users also get 48GB bonus data for the entire validity, which means the total data offered by Vi with this plan is 300GB. At the same time, Jio doesn’t offer any bonus data, which means users get only 252GB of data.

Then Vi users also get two additional offers from the company - ‘Weekend Data Rollover’ and ‘Binge All Night’. These are two unique offers that neither Jio nor Airtel provides to their customers. Both these offers take the data experience for the users to the next level.

But that’s not all; Vodafone Idea is also offering a one-year free subscription to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile with the plan. This over-the-top (OTT) benefit costs Rs 499 per year if the users are going for a standalone subscription. Vi also offers a free subscription to Vi Movies & TV for one year. Jio gives users free subscriptions to a suite of Jio applications which include JioTV, JioCinema, JioCloud, JioNews, and JioSecurity.

Looking at the cost and the benefits that each of these plans offers, it is pretty evident that the Rs 901 plan from Vi is the best as compared to the Rs 999 plan from Jio.
