One of the most awaited and anticipated Android updates, the Android 12’s stable version, will be released on October 4, 2021, by Google. As usual, the first smartphones to get the update will be Pixel devices. According to a report from XDA-Developers, Google will publish the source code for Android 12 on October 4, 2021. Even the Google Pixel 6 series smartphones will come running on the Android 12 update out of the box.
The reason why people are very excited about the launch of Android 12 has to do with the changes that it will be bringing to the overall experience. From user interface (UI) to many other things, all of it will change and bring a fresh perspective for the people to use Android smartphones.
Google Recently Released Android 12 Beta 5
It is worth noting that Google had recently released the Android 12 Beta 5 version. It is the fifth and final version before the stable release arrives. The Beta 5 comes with all the ‘fixes and optimisations’ that the Android 12 Beta 4.1 didn’t come with.
Android 12 will allow users to play a game while downloading it in the background from the Google Play Store. This feature will enable users in saving themselves time. Big games which take a lot of time for downloading can be played will it is downloading in the background. Further, with Android 12, users will be able to reply to the messages from the notification shade with images.
Right now, users can only send text replies from the notification shade. But with Android 12, they will also be able to send images which will save the user a lot of time since he/she won’t need to open the application again and again anymore. The Android 12 will bring a host of other features to the table as well. More features will be revealed as the stable update makes it to the Pixel smartphones.
