HMD Global and Reliance Jio have today unveiled yet another smartphone in India under the ‘JioExclusive’ offer. HMD had earlier announced the Nokia C01 Plus but hadn’t revealed its price or specifications. However, today, HMD has released the device for the Indian market, and it will be sold under the super affordable category. Further, the offer with Reliance Jio will make the smartphone more affordable for the users. Let’s take a look at the offer, price and specifications of the device.
Nokia C01 Plus Specifications, Price and JioExclusive Offer
Nokia C01 Plus comes with a 5.45-HD+ screen that’s great for the size of your pocket. The device will run on Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box and will also come with face unlock support. Users are promised two years of quarterly security updates, which is decent.
There will be a 5MP HDR camera sensor at the rear and a 2MP sensor at the front for clicking pictures and taking pictures. The device will come with a 3000mAh battery that will be able to power the smartphone for a whole day.
The smartphone will be available in the Indian markets in Purple and Blue colour variants. There will be a single memory variant only with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device is launched for Rs 5,999. While it is affordable, Jio customers (old and new) can get it for a 10% discount which will make the price of the device Rs 5,399 only.
Customers can opt for getting the benefits of the offer by participating in retail stores or through the MyJio app. In case the user is self-enrolling through the MyJio app, he/she can go for the JioExclusive offer within 15 days of activating the Nokia C01 Plus, and the Price Support benefits would be given directly to the customer’s bank account via UPI within 30 minutes of successful enrolment.
There will be additional benefits worth Rs 4,000 from Jio if the customers recharge with a prepaid plan worth Rs 249 or more.
