India’s homegrown Olive Telecommunication, a leading Convergence Solutions Device Developer, announced a strategic alliance with pan-India dual-technology (CDMA & GSM) telecom service provider Tata Teleservices (TTSL) and launched two new convergence devices at an event held in Mumbai.

Olive Telecom introduced exciting Broadband Internet device dubbed as Olive Genie V-ME150 which is a inovative multiple-purpose device with mobile broadband access-enabled modem (EVDO/3G Data Card) with download speed of 3.1 Mbps while upload speed is 1.8 Mbps. The device equipped with Voice Calling facility, MP3 Player, FM radio with playback time of 7 hours, dictaphone, digital audio playerm voice recording and 3.5mm audio jack.

Besides, its built-in memory of 128MB can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card.It runs on a QSC6085 platform and is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and utilizes a 250 mAh battery.

The Olive Genie V-ME150 will be made available n a week’s time under the Tata Teleservices brand portfolio across all outlets in India.

The comapny also unveil another device Olive Nexus V-R9 is a travel router with multiple connectivity options like EDGE, 3G, EVDO, ADSL and WiMAX. The Wi-fi buggle also allows multi users.
