Aircel Wins Business Delivery Innovation Award 2010

India's 5th largest GSM Mobile service operator Aircel today announced that it has won the "Business Delivery Innovation award" along with its Chanel partner Oracle Communications at fourth Global Telecom Business Innovation Awards held at London (UK).

The prestigious 'Business Delivery Innovation Award' recognizes Aircel’s ability to create new customer offerings and deliver them to market faster, while also eliminating the number of lost and unfulfilled customer orders resulting from information being held on different systems across the company.




Aircel which has more than 33 million subscribers, across 18 different states in India, with continued plans to expand its customer base to 50 million by the end of 2010. Teaming up with Oracle Communications, the company implemented Oracle's Order and Service Management 7.0 to ensure rapid offer design and order delivery of services to customers with rich business logic, scalable design, centralised decomposition and orchestration, and multi-service support.

Commenting on the new achievement Ravinder Jain, Chief Information Officer, Aircel said “We are delighted to receive this award. Our customers are extremely important to us and Oracle Communications technology has ensured that not only can we bill them effectively and accurately but we deliver them with their desired products and services on time. Oracle Communications supports the way we engage with and serve our customers and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them as we increase our customer base to 50 million by the end of 2010."
