According to tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Realme X2 will start at Rs 19,999 and it will be available in two variants with the RAM going all the up to 8GB. So the Realme X2 could be the first phone to come with Snapdragon 730G chipset under Rs 20,000. The base variant of the Realme X2 will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, whereas the 8GB+128GB storage will cost Rs 20,999. As always, the Realme X2 will be exclusive to Flipkart in the Indian market and the first sale will be at 12 PM on December 20. The Realme X2 will be a bumped up version of the Realme XT which was the first phone in India to offer 64MP quad-camera setup.

Realme X2 India Prices Officially Leaked

The Realme X2 will be a direct competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi K20 which is now available at a starting price of Rs 19,999. However, the upcoming handset from Realme will have a slight edge over the Redmi K20 because of the slightly powerful Snapdragon 730G chipset and faster charging speeds. The Realme X2 has been available in China for more than three months now and we're not sure regarding the delayed Indian launch though.

As mentioned above, the Realme X2 will be available in two variants with the base variant also featuring 128GB internal storage. The 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants of the handset will be available at Rs 19,999 and Rs 20,999, respectively. Launch offers include no-cost EMI and up to Rs 11,500 benefits from telecom operator Reliance Jio. For the unaware, the Realme X2 is a powerful variant of the Realme XT and the downgraded version of the Realme X2 Pro which is currently the flagship smartphone from the Oppo spin-off brand.

Realme X2: Specifications Detailed

Realme has been teasing the specifications of the Realme X2 for a while now, but the company has revealed just three features of the handset. The Realme X2 differs from the Realme XT in just three aspects; The X2 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset as compared to the Snapdragon 712 SoC we get on the Realme XT. The Realme X2 also has a 32MP front-facing camera and also features 30W Super VOOC fast charging support. The Realme XT has a 16MP front-facing camera and offers 20W Super VOOC fast charging technology to the users.

Other specifications of the Realme X2 include 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset may run Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.2 out of the box and it will be backed by a 4000mAh battery. As for the cameras, the Realme X2 will rock 64MP quad-camera setup on the back, similar to the Realme XT.

Compared to the Xiaomi Redmi K20, the Realme X2 has a slight advantage in some aspects- fast processor and charging speeds. The Redmi K20 has the Sony IMX582 sensor and it's not capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps, but we're expecting the Realme X2 to offer this feature thanks to the 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor.

Do make a note that these are not the official prices of the Realme X2, but our expected price of the smartphone was also Rs 19,999. The launch event is less than 24 hours from now.
