Asus is finally rolling out the stable Android 10 update to Zenfone 5Z smartphone India. A few weeks ago, Asus rolled out the same update to its current flagship smartphone- the Asus 6Z, and now, its 2018 flagship smartphone is getting the latest Android iteration update. In other countries, Asus even rolled out the Android 10 update to Asus Zenfone 6 smartphone, but the phone was not launched in India as of now. With this rollout, the Asus ROG Phone 2 will be next in the line to get Android 10 update sometime later next month or early in 2020. Asus India posted the news regarding the update rollout to Zenfone 5Z and the entire changelog is present on the Zen Forums. That said, the FOTA will be rolled out in a phased manner and it will reach your Asus Zenfone 5Z in the next few weeks.

Asus Zenfone 5Z Android 10 Update: What’s New?
First of all, do make a note that the Android 10 update for the Zenfone 5Z will be based on ZenUI 6. The best part of this update is the Taiwanese company removed the entire bloatware and made the UI a stock Android lookalike. For the unaware, the Asus 6Z offered stock Android experience and the same UI is now rolled out the Zenfone 5Z as well.
Talking about the changelog, the company has upgraded the overall system to Android 10 and it brings the latest November 2019 security patches as well. The company also says the ZenUI 6 based on Android 10 for the Zenfone 5Z removes several features like Page Marker, ZeniMoji, Selfie Master, Beauty Live, Kids Mode, Easy Mode, weather animation setting, AI charging, WebStorage, Go2Pay, Report Location in Safeguard, and Yandex cloud option in File Manager.
