Realme today announced the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro smartphones in India. The Realme 5 and 5 Pro both ship with quad cameras, big batteries and the all-new Crystal design with Holographic colour effect. The Realme 5 is the first phone in India to ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, whereas the Realme 5 Pro is the second phone in the country with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset. To recall, the Realme 3 arrived with MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, while the Realme 3 Pro offered Snapdragon 710 chipset. The Realme 5 Pro retains the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor we saw on the Realme X and the Realme 5 offers a 12MP camera sensor. The other three camera sensors on both the phones include an ultra-wide-angle lens, macro lens and Portrait lens. Prices of the Realme 5 series start at Rs 9,999 and goes all the way up to Rs 18,999.

Realme 5 Pro: Specifications and Features
The Realme 5 Pro features a similar design as the Realme 3 Pro, but the company has upgraded internals and cameras. Firstly, the design of the Realme 5 Pro has been updated and the company is now calling it as Crystal Design. Upfront, the 5 Pro features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a dewdrop notch and 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the Realme 5 Pro has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE chipset, which we have seen on the Vivo Z1 Pro earlier. The phone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage along with support for a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The high-end model of Realme 5 Pro has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
