State-run telecom service provider, BSNL, is trying very hard to retain its subscriber base as the Jio GigaFiber’s commercial launch is around the corner. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has now introduced a new Mega Cashback Scheme under which it’ll be providing 25% cashback for users who choose the company’s yearly broadband plans. At the same time, the country’s largest wired broadband service provider also revised several broadband plans to offer up to five times more FUP per month. The popular broadband plan from BSNL is the Rs 249 one which is now priced at Rs 299 and offers thrice the data benefit compared to earlier. Several other broadband players are also providing a discount on yearly broadband plans and are also offering extra data benefit. While BSNL introduced discount offer, it’s yet to announce extra data offer to its subscribers.

On timely payment of the bill, for example, if the customer chooses for a plan with Rs 1,000 monthly rental, then they will receive a cashback of 25%, i.e. Rs 3,000 which they can further use to pay future bills or avail more services from BSNL. To opt with this new scheme by BSNL, customers can dial the BSNL toll-free number 1800-345-1500, or they can visit BSNL customer service centre. It’s also worth noting that BSNL has introduced this plans in all of its circles.
