In November, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro to top up the success of the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The phone which comes with a mid-range price tag has been in high demand since its launch. However, many buyers have been struggling to get their hands on the Redmi Note 6 Pro, because of the minimal flash sales. Part of the reason why Xiaomi is holding on to its stocks of the Redmi Note 6 Pro is that the brand wants to empty its inventory of the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Redmi Note 6 Pro Open Sale Starting This Week

According to a tweet sent out by Redmi India, the open sale for the Redmi Note 6 Pro will go live on December 12. The deal will be on Flipkart and Mi store, and it would mean larger stocks of the new phone. Also, now interested buyers will not be required to tune into the website on a particular day to get their hands on the device. The price of the Redmi Note 6 Pro has been set at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB and 64GB variant of the device, whereas the 6GB RAM and 64GB model costs Rs 15,999.

If you are not thinking of buying the phone with a one-time upfront payment, Flipkart is also offering EMIs starting at Rs 465 per month. Not only this, but Flipkart is also giving away a 10% discount up to a maximum of Rs 100 on any Mastercard for first-time online payment. Axis Bank Buzz credit card users will also be able to get a 5% discount with a maximum cap of Rs 200.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 1-year handset warranty and a 6-month warranty for its accessories. Speaking of the offers on the Mi store, Xiaomi is offering a 3-month subscription of Hungama Music, giving you unlimited audio streaming and video songs for 90 days. Xiaomi will also be selling the Mi protect accidental and liquid damage cover for Rs 999, with a validity of one year. Lastly, there is also an offer from Reliance Jio offering Rs 2,400 cashback and with up to 6TB 4G data.

Redmi Note 6 Pro: Improvements Over the Predecessor

The Redmi Note 6 Pro boasts of a bigger 6.26-inch Full HD+ screen, and this phone also comes with a notch on top. On the front, we get to see a dual camera setup of 20MP+2MP dual-camera, while the Redmi Note 5 Pro used to come with a 20MP shooter. There is also a new bokeh mode for selfies, given the dual camera setup. In terms of chipset, memory, rear camera, and battery capacity, the phone packs the same as it was the case in Redmi Note 5 Pro.
