ACT Fibernet Broadband Users Can Avail Subscription of SonyLIV at Rs 99 per Month

Leading wired Internet Service Provider (ISP), ACT Fibernet today announced its partnership with SonyLIV. In order to strengthen its OTT offerings, ACT Fibernet partnered with one of the leading OTT players SonyLIV. As part of this collaboration, ACT Fibernet customers across all 16 cities can now directly subscribe to SonyLIV and enjoy rich content across movies, sports, shows, music, web originals, English shows and much more. Additionally, this offer is valid on all broadband plans and can be availed at an additional cost of Rs 99 per month.

ACT Fibernet Aiming to Strengthen its OTT Offerings

In the broadband sector, it's not all about providing better speeds and service as customers are looking for more benefits. For the unaware, ACT Fibernet already has its partnerships with several OTT players such as HOOQ, Hungama, ALT Balaji and Yupp TV. Now, the ISP has established a partnership with SonyLIV, which offers a wide range of content across all genres.

Speaking on the partnership, Ravi Karthik, Head of Marketing, ACT Fibernet, commented, “SonyLIV is one of the most widely watched OTT platform with a host of original content and we are happy to bring their offerings through our service to all our customers across the country. There is a soaring demand for OTT content, in the last one year, we have received an overwhelming response for the various other OTT services that we provide to our users. We are positive that we will see remarkable traction for SonyLIV and our customers will have a wholesome entertainment experience.”

ACT Fibernet currently has over 1.2 million subscribers across 16 cities in the country. Last year in March, ACT introduced a 1 Gbps broadband plan in Hyderabad city as a first in the industry. As the year progressed, ACT partnered with OTT players and even launched a dedicated entertainment plan bundled with OTT services namely ACT Entertainment.

ACT Fibernet Also Offering Six Months of Free YuppTV Subscription

As noted, ACT Fibernet already established partnerships with various OTT players in the industry. Existing ACT customers will get two months of free HOOQ subscription for free, free six months of YuppTV subscription, Rs 249 worth Hungama Play subscription at Rs 99 per month, SonyLIV subscription at Rs 99 per month and free ALT Balaji membership for three months.
