Hathway to Launch 300 Mbps Broadband Plan in Hyderabad Very Soon

Earlier this year, Hathway launched the high-speed 300 Mbps broadband plan in Chennai city very soon. Named as Hathway Mesh, the ISP stated it would start offering the same plan in other cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru starting from December 2018. As of now, there's no official information from the company on when it's going to expand the 300 Mbps plan, but going by the earlier given words, it should go live in Hyderabad very soon.

Notably, Hathway's high-speed broadband plan is the 300 Mbps one itself as the company did not launch any broadband plan with 1 Gbps speeds. As of now, only ACT Fibernet and Spectra are providing 1 Gbps broadband plan on a major scale. ACT is charging Rs 5,999 for the 1 Gbps plan in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, while the same plan is priced at Rs 3,999. Known as the ACT Giga plan, it also comes with a free Google Home smart speaker.

Also, in Hyderabad, Reliance Jio GigaFiber is yet to make a mark as the service availability is very limited at the moment. In various Northern states, Jio is providing GigaFiber service already which is the reason why it rose to the top position in the Netflix Speed Index test with an average streaming speed of 3.48 Mbps in October 2018.
