Poco India, the sub-brand of Chinese handset maker, Xiaomi today announced that it would be selling the popular Poco F1 flagship smartphone across Mi Home and Mi Preferred Partner stores. The Poco F1 will be available for purchase across Mi Home stores starting October 13 and it will be available in the offline partner stores of Xiaomi from October 17. A press release from Poco India states that the decision is taken to take full advantage of the festive season as more users will be looking for reliable smartphone across offline stores.
Poco F1 Offline Availability is a Major Step Forward
Poco says that the decision to sell the Poco F1 offline is because of the Diwali festive season as the company is aiming to tap into the brand's increasing popularity among the Indian customers as well as its fans who have repeatedly requested for the availability of Poco devices across offline channels. "In an effort to address the growing customer demand and ensure easier availability of its products, the brand has successfully expanded its reach across the flagship Mi Home stores of its supporting Xiaomi brand as well as other related offline partners," said Poco in a press statement.
Marking this milestone moment, Manmohan Chandolu, General Manager, Poco India shared, “This is a truly defining moment for us as we witness the growth of our brand, and seek to explore newer horizons in the vast offline segment of our market. Following the launch of Poco F1, we received commendable response from our customers towards the Master of Speed. We look forward to reaching out to the wider section of the Indian consumers who are majorly offline based, and can now easily access our devices while enjoying the power of incredible speed matched with the ultimate performance at an irresistible price.”
Poco F1 Offline Price Will Be Close to the Online Price
Furthermore, the newly created brand has reaffirmed that it will take additional efforts to ensure that its devices will be available at aggressive pricing close to their online prices with slight variations in order to compensate for the retail operational costs. However, the brand did not announce the offline pricing of the Poco F1.
Usually, Xiaomi sells its smartphones at Rs 500 higher than the online price in offline stores. Maybe the same will continue with the Poco F1. For the unaware, the Poco F1 is available at Rs 20,999 for the 6GB+64GB option, Rs 23,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 28,999 for the 8GB+256GB storage model. There's a Kevlar back variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage available at a price of Rs 29,999.
