Xiaomi Poco F1 With 6GB of RAM and 128GB Storage Will Go on Open Sale Starting Tonight

Xiaomi's new sub-brand Poco today announced that its first smartphone, Poco F1 will be available for purchase via open sale starting tonight. However, only one variant of the Poco F1 will go on open sale. The 6GB+128GB storage option of the Poco F1, which is priced at Rs 23,999 can be picked up through the open sale on Mi.com and Flipkart starting at 12 AM tonight. That said, Xiaomi is yet to reveal the open sale dates of 6GB+64GB and 8GB+256GB variants of the Poco F1. It may not happen in the near future as there's huge demand for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi Poco F1 Open Sale on Flipkart and Mi.com

This is the first time a variant of Poco F1 will be available via an open sale in India. Since the launch of Poco F1 last month, Xiaomi has conducted a total of three flash sales, and during all the three sales, the device went out of stock in a matter of seconds. During the first sale, Xiaomi generated a revenue of Rs 200 crore with the Poco F1, which means Xiaomi must've sold over 65,000 units.

As mentioned above, the 6GB+128GB variant of the Poco F1 will only be available via the open sale. This variant is priced at Rs 23,999 and can be picked up on Flipkart or Mi.com.

Not only the Poco F1 is making headlines, but it's also the Best Rated flagship smartphone on Flipkart. The Poco F1 achieved this rating because Xiaomi is offering high-end specifications at an unbelievable starting price of Rs 20,999. The Poco F1 is an online-only smartphone from Xiaomi and it can be picked up via Flipkart or Mi.com. Starting tomorrow, the 6GB+128GB can be purchased at any point of time, thanks to the open sale, but the other two variants will be available only via flash sales for now.

Xiaomi Poco F1 Specifications and Features

The biggest strength of Poco F1 by Xiaomi is its spec sheet. The phone sports a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2246 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Poco F1 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, clubbed with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. The device also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.

As for the connectivity options, the Poco F1 supports Dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The device is currently running MIUI 9.6 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Optics on the handset include a 12MP+5MP shooters on the rear side and a 20MP shooter on the front side for selfies and video calls. This entire package is armed with a 4000mAh battery and Poco team even added Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. The fingerprint scanner is present on the rear side and the phone even offers Face Unlock functionality.

Xiaomi Poco F1 Pricing, Availability

The Poco F1's 6GB+64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 20,999, followed by the 6GB+128GB storage option which will retail via an open sale at a price of Rs 23,999. The 8GB+256GB storage variant of the Poco F1 can be picked up during flash sales for Rs 28,999. Xiaomi even launched a Kevlar back variant of the Poco F1 at Rs 29,999 in India.
