WhatsApp Business App Will Soon Land in the Apple App Store

WhatsApp has finally started working on the WhatsApp Business app for iOS as well, as a couple of screenshots from the upcoming app have been leaked online. WhatsApp Business app, which is currently available only for Android users already has over three million active users, and with the addition of the iOS application, the user base will take a surge. However, there's no timeline on when WhatsApp is planning to release the application, but the company is said to be working so hard in implementing all the features available in the Android version in iOS version. At the moment, WhatsApp is working on the Greeting Message, which sends a greeting message to a customer.

WhatsApp is working the WhatsApp Business for iOS since some weeks, as reported by WABetaInfo. The report also added that several top features of WhatsApp Business such as Quick Replies, Labels are absent in the current stage of iOS app, but they're expected to be added before the final release so that WhatsApp can roll out new features to both Android and iOS versions at the same time.

As you can see in the screenshots leaked, WhatsApp is currently working on the Greeting Message feature, which sends a greeting message to a user either on their first message or after 14 days of inactivity. This Greeting feature is already available in the WhatsApp Business Android app.

Its been a while since the release of WhatsApp Business app for Android, but the company was silent on the iOS version. But it's now confirmed that the iOS version of WhatsApp Business will soon land in the Apple App Store.

With the WhatsApp Business service, several major brands are ditching the SMS service. For example, services such as Redbus and Bookmyshow have already started using WhatsApp Business. If a customer books a bus ticket on Redbus and has a WhatsApp account, then the bus ticket details will be sent over WhatsApp only. Even Netflix started sending information about latest movies, TV shows through WhatsApp. The Business model of WhatsApp is expected to replace the traditional SMS service in the future.
