Dell Launches Four Entry-Level Gaming Laptops Running Windows 10

Dell has made the latest instalment in its gaming laptop series. This new line-up of laptops has been launched in US and China as the G Series and come power packed with high-end specs for a seamless gaming experience. The four new laptops which have been released in this series are the Dell G3 15 and 17 and the Dell G5 15 and G7 15. The highlight of these laptops is the presence of 8th generation Intel Core processors in the chipset and also the Nvidia GeForce GTX 10-series GPUs which being equipped with Max-Q design technology will offer flawless gaming. The laptops will also accommodate the options for dual SSDs, will sport slim profiles, and will render graphics on the screen up to 4K (3840x2160). Xiaomi recently launched its Mi Gaming Laptop in China and these new models from Dell will compete with it.

Dell G3 15 and G3 17
The 15 and 17 variants have been made to the G3 series to denote the 15-inch and 17-inch screen for which both the laptops different variants. As for the powerful processor and GPU, the gaming machines come with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with up to 1060 Max-Q discrete GPUs. It is interesting to note that gaming laptops in the past have been known to be bulky and heavy. However, Dell, this time claims that G3 15 is Dell’s thinnest gaming laptop to be made till date. The G3 15 comes in three colour variants - Black, Recon Blue, and Alpine White while its higher model, Dell G3 17 comes in two colour options, Black and Recon Blue. Also, the processor option on both these models go as high as up to including Intel Core i7 CPUs.

Dell G5 15 and G7 15
The G5 15 and G7 15 go a step ahead in terms of packing powerful specifications. Both the laptops are driven by the Nvidia GTX 1060 GPUs with Max-Q design processors with G7 providing the 8th generation Intel Core i7 and Core i9 being driven by the G7. To ensure a better cooling capacity for the heavy-duty chipset. Dual fans and dual SSDs have also been offered on the machines. The G7 being the topmost model in the series also comes with a 4K display option. As for the colours of the laptops, the Dell G5 15 comes in Standard Black or Beijing Red flavours, and Dell G7 15 comes in Standard Black or Alpine White. All the four laptops run Windows 10.

Price and Availability
People who are into gaming laptops and have been awaiting the launch of a new gaming series in India will have to wait a little bit more as no official statement has been made by Dell regarding the launch of these laptops in India. This means although there isn’t a formal price sheet available for these products, we have got the rates of the Dell gaming series laptop from “US, China, and Europe” where according to company’s official statement, the laptops have been launched on their website and on BestBuy in the US. Moving on to the prices, the Dell G3 15 and 17 will be available globally from April 16 and will come with a price tag of $750 (approximately Rs 49,000) and $800 (roughly Rs 52,000). On the other hand, the Dell G5 15 will be available from April 16 and will come with a price tag of $850 (around Rs 55,300).
