ACT Fibernet, one of the largest wired Internet Service Provider in the country has started offering additional 1500GB data with its broadband plans to subscribers in select regions. The additional 1500GB data offer is valid for ACT Fibernet broadband users in Chennai and for Bengaluru users, the free data is down to 1000GB. This offer is valid from March 1, 2018, to August 31, 2018, and the additional data benefit will be credited to customer's account on a monthly basis. For example, the 1500GB data is divided into six months, and each month a customer using an eligible plan will receive 300GB additional data along with the standard plan data. And the same applies to users in Bengaluru and other circles as well.

We're not sure when ACT Fibernet introduced this offer, but going by the banner on the official website, this offer is created to support Chennai Super Kings Indian Premier League team. Earlier, ACT had a similar offer with the same amount of data in some circles. Essentially, ACT just extended the validity of the old offer by another six months to lure more customers on board.

For ACT Fibernet broadband users in Bengaluru, the company is providing up to 1000GB additional data with all the plans. And this free data will be credited on a monthly basis for six months until August 2018. Do make a note that some basic plans are not eligible for this additional data offer. For example, in Chennai, the ACT Basic plan of Rs 799 is not eligible for the offer. So head over to the company's official website to know more details such as eligible plans, monthly data breakdown, etc.

When we checked the offer availability in some circles, it still showed the old offer which extends on March 31, 2018. Maybe, the company will add those cities as well next month.

With this additional data offer, the ACT Thunder plan of Rs 1,499 in Chennai which normally gives 450GB of data per month will now offer additional 300GB per month, which takes the overall data benefit to 750GB per month, which is good offering overall.

Note: This Offer is Applicable Only for Customers Choosing Six Months or Yearly Subscription.
