Fast Company, which is world’s leading progressive business media brand today announced its annual ranking of the world’s 50 Most Innovative Companies (MIC) for 2018. The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio secured 17th spot on the global list and also ranked at No. 1 position for the Most Innovative Companies in India. With the launch of affordable 4G services in India, Reliance Jio changed the dynamics of Indian telecom industry and also made India the leading country in terms of data consumption.

Apart from Reliance Jio, other global companies such as Apple, Netflix, Tencent, Amazon, Spotify, and many others are on the list. For the unaware, Fast Company releases a list of top 50 innovative companies every year, and the list will be curated from Fast Company’s Top 10 lists, which recognise pioneering companies across 36 categories, from artificial intelligence to wellness.
