Xiaomi Launches 32GB Storage Option of the Mi Max 2 in India at an Introductory Price of Rs. 12,999

Xiaomi India has been launching a plethora of products in recent times. And the latest one is the Mi Max 2's 32GB storage variant. To recall, Xiaomi launched the Mi Max 2 in India back in July 2017 in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant for Rs. 16,999. And now, the Chinese company launches a downgraded storage option in the country for Rs. 14,999.

However, as an introductory price, the Mi Max 2 32GB variant will be available for as low as Rs. 12,999 in the first sale, which will be held on Amazon India, Mi.Com, and Mi Home stores on September 20. Yes, you heard it right, the Mi Max 2 will be available at just Rs. 12,999 on September 20.

The Mi Max 2 (first impressions) is the successor to last year's Mi Max, which received a huge praise from every corner of the country. The Mi Max 2 packs in a bigger 6.44-inch display same as its predecessor, with Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for scratch resistance.

The device sports a metal unibody design with muted antennas on the back that gives off a premium look. Weighing in at 211 grams, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 measures 174.10 x 88.7 x 7.6 mm. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

When it comes to the cameras, the handset comes with a 12MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture sitting at the back. Xiaomi highlights the camera of the Mi Max 2 as the one used in the flagship Mi 6. A 5MP snapper sits on the front, which is mediocre in today' selfie generation.

The highlight of the Mi Max 2 is the massive 5300mAh battery, which also has support for parallel charging and fast charging. The Mi Max 2 uses a USB Type-C port for charging, and also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device comes with added features like Stereo Sound for enhanced gaming and multimedia experience, and a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back panel. The smartphone comes in just a single Matte Black colour option.
