As per the previous reports, Motorola is rumoured to release nine smartphones in coming days, and one among the nine smartphones would be the Moto X (2017) or simply the Moto X4. Now, a new tweet by Andri Yatim a relatively new tipster says that Motorola may launch the Moto X4 on June 30.
He also tipped the specifications of the smartphone. The Moto X4 will not feature a metal body, instead, it will come with a glass design. The phone will have two cameras at the back, something which has been making rounds on the internet for a long time. That said, the Moto X4 will be the company's first smartphone with a dual camera because the Moto G5s+ launch date is still unknown.
Besides the dual camera and glass design, the Moto X4 would feature mid-range specifications. The phone is claimed to be powered by the recently unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, built on 14nm manufacturing process. The device will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The surprising news, however, is that it may be an IP68 certified smartphone, which means that you can use the device under water for 30 minutes. The phone might get a massive 3800mAh battery, which also supports Quick Charge 3.0. Furthermore, the device will have a 5.5-inch display as per previous reports. Along with the power efficient Snapdragon 660 SoC, the Moto X4 should be the next best battery smartphone, taking reigns from the last year's Moto Z Play. The handset will have a USB Type-C port.
Apart from the specifications, the same user, a couple of days ago tipped the prices of three upcoming Motorola smartphones and one among the list is the Moto X4. He claims that the Moto X4 will cost Rs. 20,999 in India, which would be a decent price, considering the speculated specifications.
Motorola has sent out media invites for a smartphone launch in Brazil on June 21, and it's expected to launch the Moto X4 itself. Other smartphones in the Motorola list are the Moto G5s, G5s+, Moto Z2, Moto Z2 Force, and the Moto E4 lineup.
