Most of you must have forgotten the name Meizu, a Chinese brand that created waves in the Indian market back in 2015. The company has targeted the sub-Rs. 10,000 price bracket and released an array of phones that included Meizu M2, Meizu M2 Note, etc. While the company has lost its plot in India of late, it has been doing good work in its homeland, China.

Meizu Pro-7

Since mid-2016, one of Meizu’s flagship smartphone, the Pro 7 has been making rounds online, but the device never became official. The Meizu Pro 7 is expected to come with a dual curved screen, same as the Galaxy S8+, but Meizu won’t be killing the side bezels. According to a new leak appeared on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the Pro 7 will come equipped with a dual camera at the rear.

As you can see in the picture above, the Pro 7 will have a horizontally placed dual camera at the back along with a LED flashlight. The device is a rectangular slab with the front dominated by a 5.7-inch QHD display. Below it is a home button, which might also carry the fingerprint scanner.

Besides this, the leaked image also reveals purported specifications of the phone. The Meizu Pro 7 will come equipped with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 835 SoC, 3GB/4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. That said, earlier leaks suggested that the device would come with a MediaTek Helio X30 chip.

Also, previous rumors suggested that the Pro 7 will have a single rear camera with 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor. But there are no details on the dual rear camera setup based on the new leak. The Pro 7 is also claimed to pack a massive 4000mAh battery, along with Android Nougat-based Flyme OS.

The device is expected to come out in the next few weeks. Also, there’s no conclusive evidence that the device pictured above is the Meizu Pro 7. So, we suggest you take this news with a grain of salt.
