Lenovo has announced a price cut for its Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone in India. As per the new pricing, the Z2 Plus 32GB storage/3GB RAM variant will retail at Rs. 14,999 - the phone was launched at Rs. 17,999. The 64GB storage/4GB RAM variant will now cost Rs. 17,499 - a price cut of Rs. 2500 from the launch price of Rs. 19,999.
Both the storage variants will be up for sale via Amazon and Flipkart both in Black and White colour options. The units will also be stocked by other retail outlets, which means that Lenovo Z2 Plus is no more exclusive to Amazon.
To recap, the Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone comes with a 5-inch full HD display. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, EIS, PDAF, along with an 8MP front camera. A 3500mAh battery backs the device with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Regarding connectivity, the Z2 Plus supports dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
Moreover, the Z2 Plus also features a U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor, which is embedded into the home button and can unlock the device in merely 0.1 seconds. The device sports ten smart sensors that also includes a UV sensor for sun exposure and heart rate sensor.
