OnePlus announced a new software update for the OnePlus 3, the OxygenOS 3.2.2. This update is touted by the company to fix notifications issue in Doze mode along with problems in the alert slider. On its Forum, OnePlus announced the OTA update roll out; it will gradually reach OnePlus 3 users. The new update is around 271MB in size.
Moreover, the update will also disable fingerprint scanner while the OnePlus 3 is in user's pocket. The update also enhances noise cancellation in video recording, updates the 4K video capture codec, includes NFC toggle in Quick Settings, and also brings new security patches. The update also brings "various optimisations" on board, but OnePlus did not explain it in the forum.
