Reliance MyJio Self Care app has undergone a makeover with better user interface and new features. The app, which primarily serves the customers using the Jio network has added an ‘auto log-in’ facility by which a user can log in without the password. There is also a “request for call’ option, using which the subscriber can initiate a callback request from the Jio executive. The newly integrated 'Easy SIM replacement' enables Jio users to change their SIM if lost or stolen through My Jio app.
“MyJio just got a stunning new look. Install, launch and enjoy all Jio apps from the MyJio App Center. Glance your services and accounts, link accounts, replenish your accounts and take advantage of unique offers tailored to you. Try it Now,” reads a mail from Jio that welcomed the subscribers to try the new MyJio app.
On MyJio, the subscribers can track his data usage, find the postpaid bills and get whole usage details, etc. For the first-time users, Jio has also integrated a separate app section, from which a user can download other Jio apps to enjoy Live TV, on demand Videos, access magazines, play music, etc.
According to Google Play data, MyJio has been downloaded over few lakhs times and has a rating of 4.5 in the review. However, in terms of performance, the app became slower than the previous version. Also, in the newly updated app, the multiple language options, which allowed the Jio customers to choose between 13 languages is removed.
Since Jio does not have USSD services to track account details, activate product and VAS, Reliance is focusing on their self-care app to add more features.
