BSNL introduces promotional offer for prepaid Fixed Landline services

Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has announced introduction of new promotional tariff for prepaid fixed landline service. The new tariff will be available for period of 90 days with effect from May 25, 2016 on PAN India basis.

For new customers BSNL is offer prepaid landline connection for Rs 100 plan voucher and comes with Rs 100 worth free talktime. Calls will be charged at 80p/min for both STD and local calls for one month. For existing customers, Rs 25 will be charged for plan voucher which offer same tariff, however do not include free talktime benefit.

BSNL will also charge Rs 600 for the landline and another Rs 600 for installation of the device. BSNL fixed prepaid landline service enables customers to use their landline telephone like a prepaid mobile connection. Customers can recharge their prepaid account using recharge coupons available in different denominations.

BSNL also allows conversion of existing fixed line connections to prepaid. Compared to existing landline plans, prepaid plans are much cheaper as it comes rent free.
