BLU Products, which is a US based manufacturing company has entered Indian shores with two Windows Phone powered 4G LTE smartphones. The two devices — Win JR LTE, and Win HD LTE, both of them running Windows Phone 8.1 OS. As Window Phone 10 update is around the corner, BLU has affirmed that both the new devices are upgradable to the new version.
Coming on to the specifications, the Blu Win JR LTE features a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset coupled with 512MB RAM. The smartphone has 4GB of internal storage, and sports a 5-megapixel primary camera, along with a VGA front-facing camera. The device supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and is backed by a 2,000 mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,999, and will be available in Grey, White, Yellow, Orange, and Pink color options.
On the other hand, the Blu Win HD LTE comes with a 5-inch HD display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with 1GB of RAM. It features 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device sports an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, along with a 2-megapixel selfie camera. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and is backed by a 2,500 mAh non-removable battery. The Win HD LTE is priced at Rs. 7,999, and will be available in Grey, White, Yellow, and Orange color options.
Moreover, both the devices come pre-installed with apps such Facebook, Skype, Office, OneDrive, and OneNote. In terms of pricing and specifications, both the new devices by BLU look decent, it would be interesting to see what kind of response they garner in India.
