LG is all set to unveil a ‘classy’ smartphone at an event slated for September 21

LG is all set to launch a new smartphone at an event scheduled for September 21st. The company has already started teasing the undercover device, and the announcement banner of the device reads “Something New”.

LG September 21st eventThe teaser showcases the rear of the smartphone, which just shows LG’s legacy design of power button and volume controller setup. One can also see the Loudspeaker grill on the right side of the camera.




The device has been crafted in a metal body, and as of now there is pretty limited information regarding the device’s specifications and availability. However, the rumor mill suggests that the device might be named as “Class”.

Interestingly, GFXBench has unleashed specifications of LG’s mid-range phablet, named as LG H740. The phablet is expected to come with a 5.7-inch 1080p display, and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 Snapdragon 615 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage onboard, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device features 12-megapixel of primary camera with LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There are speculations that LG might be unveiling the LG H740 at the September 21st event. LG has also slated an event on October 1st for the unveiling of LG V10.
