Smartphone OEMs have come to terms with the fact that India is currently a hotbed for smartphones. The sales are increasing at quite a brisk pace and more and more OEMs are setting up shop in the country. What this means is that a lot more competitors are fighting it out for the customer's attention. The simplest way to attract customers to your brand is price a product just right so that the customers see the value-for-money on offer.

Lenovo K3 Note

Pricing a product right requires cost controls and a way to control costs is to manufacture the devices in the country itself. Lenovo, which has been constantly gaining popularity in the budget smartphone market in the country is now evaluating manufacturing smartphones and tablets in India instead of importing them from China. Where this new facility could be situated is yet unknown.

Lenovo has a facility in Puducherry which is used to manufacture its personal computers. Lenovo is aiming to be among the top three smartphone companies in India in near future and manufacturing devices here will surely help it in achieving its goal. Recently, LG announced that it will be manufacturing devices in the country and even Xiaomi is considering it.

Lenovo is launching quite value for money devices these days with the Lenovo K3 Note being the latest of them. Let us wait and watch what the future brings with it.
