Snapdeal Welcomes Former Airtel CPO Anand Chandrasekaran

Anand Chandrasekaran, Former Airtel Chief Product Officer, has joined leading Indian e-commerce company Snapdeal in a similar capacity.

The senior leadership team of Snapdeal is delighted to have him on board. According to Rohit Bansal, Co-Founder, Snapdeal, "Our company is going through a hyper growth phase. I believe, it will set new benchmarks for highly engaging and intuitive products not just in India, but at international level under Anand's leadership."




In his previous stint with Bharti Airtel, Chandrasekaran handled Airtel Money, Wynk Music and API products. He also looked after technology partnerships and devised product strategy and led Airtel's e-commerce segment Airtel online effectively.

Before joining Airtel, Chandrasekaran worked with search engine giant Yahoo as Senior Director for mobile and search products segment.

He comes with a BS in Communications Engineering from PSG College of Technology and MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
