Samsung Galaxy Grand Max With LTE now available in India for Rs. 15,990

Samsung Galaxy Grand Max has been finally launched in India. It got listed on Snapdeal in Grey and White color variant for a price of Rs. 17,286. Interestingly, Snapdeal later revised the price of the device to Rs. 15,990.

Snapdeal on Sunday confirmed through a tweet that the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max is now exclusively available through its retail platform. The phone was first launched in Korea last month. In terms of the outlook, the Grand Max features a new design on the rear panel, which is definitely a good breakout from Samsung’s monotonous look.

The Grand Max handset launched in India is an Android 4.4 KitKat-based variant with Dual SIM (Micro-SIM) support. Interestingly, the one launched in Korea, featured Single SIM connectivity only.

The phone comes with a 5.25-inch HD TFT display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. The Grand Max sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor, LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on-board, which boasts 120 degree wide viewing angle lens for wide-angled selfies.

In terms of connectivity, it includes 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, Glonass, and FM radio. The smartphone is backed by a 2,500 mAh replaceable battery. It measures 146.1x75x7.9mm and weighs 161 grams.
