Aircel is buckling up its armour and entering into the 4G LTE battlefield in which up till now Airtel and Reliance Jio have been locking horns for gaining the early movers advantage. Aircel holds 20MHz of spectrum in the 4G LTE 2300 MHz band across eight circles - Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam and North East and Jammu and Kashmir. In comparison, Airtel holds 20MHz of spectrum in the same band in 8 circles including the 4 circles of Qualcomm which it bought out and Reliance Jio holds Pan India spectrum in this band.
Aircel has launched a 4G LTE WiFi router which is simply plug and play enabled, which means it is portable unlike the traditional wired broadband routers which need to be plugged in with Ethernet cable for them to be functional. Aircel proclaims that this router is 3 times better than DSL and 20 times better than data dongles.

- 4G super home 10GB- Monthly rental Rs.999 provides 10GB data at LTE speeds after which speed is throttled to 512Kbps for additional 1GB beyond which speed is throttled to 256Kbps.
- 4G super home 15GB- Monthly rental Rs.1349 provides 15GB data at LTE speeds after which speed is throttled to 512Kbps for additional 1.5GB beyond which speed is throttled to 256Kbps.
- 4G super home 25GB- Monthly rental Rs.1999 provides 25GB at LTE speeds after which speed is throttled to 1Mbps for additional 2.5GB beyond which speed is throttled to 512Kbps.
