Uninor celebrates 5 years of its presence in India, offers Whatsapp and Facebook Packs free for 5 days

Uninor, with over 42 million customers and close to 6.5% revenue market share (RMS) in less than 5 years operations, the company is amongst the top 5-telecom operators in its 6 operating circle. As a part of the its 5th anniversary celebration, Uninor is offering free Facebook and Whatsapp pack for 5 days to all its subscribers transacting at any of the 1500 Uninor owned retail outlets across its six circles. The offer will be applicable on any recharge or activation done by a subscriber. This offer will be available for a week until December 06.

“The free Facebook and Whatsapp offer is a small token of appreciation towards our customers who have made this journey successful. We will continue to offer Sabse Sasta (most affordable) and relevant voice and Internet services to them in the coming years too,” Upanga Dutta, chief marketing officer, Uninor.

With the launch of its Internet for All strategy, the company has enabled a service-based approach to data leading to an exponential growth in the adoption of digital services amongst its customer base. Uninor’s Sabse Sasta Face Book and Whatsapp service based offers have enabled it to grow its Internet subscribers by 70% and achieve Internet revenue growth by 103%.
