This price is revealed from a slide from ARM's Tech Day which was being reported by AnandTech. The slide estimates the price of a low cost smartphone based on single core ARM Cortex A5 processor. The slide also compares the price of Firefox OS powered low cost smartphones which had to cut down on RAM to hit that price point. Although these smartphones won't be able to satisfy tech enthusiasts but it would be more than satisfactory for first time smartphone users or first mobile phones.
