Sony is going the positive way for its Indian operations in the smartphone arena and its one device after the other is going on sale. It had just launched the Xperia Z1 Compact in India and The Xperia T2 Ultra, a phablet from the company has just gone on sale. It is available for Rs 32,000 and the official launch is expected soon. Here's a look at its specifications:

xperia-t2-ultra

  • 6 inch TRILIMUNOUS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
  • 1.4 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC
  • Adreno 305 GPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory
  • 13MP rear camera with Exmor RS, 1.1MP front camera
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS
  • 3,000 mAh battery
  • Black, White and Purple colours

It will be available in single SIM guise only for the time being. The phablet is good well rounded off package for a mid-range device that costs around Rs 20,000-24,000 but this one costs Rs 32,000 which do not make it a value for money offering as per me. But if you wait a little, its price may come down to around Rs 25,000-28,000 and it will start to make a lot of more sense then.
