Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is on a major revision drive across all categories of prepaid vouchers and today they have revised all Pan India SMS Packs and introduced one new SMS STV for all of its 2G and 3G prepaid customers.

BSNL's SMS Packs priced Rs.12, Rs.24, Rs.31 and Rs. 52 presently offering  Local/National On-net SMS at0.5p/SMS & Local/National Off-net-SMS at 10p/SMS now revised and with these packs subscribers will get 130, 265, 385 and 860 Free Local/National SMS to any network across India respectively.

With SMS Pack of Rs.83 now BSNL prepaid customers would get FREE 1650 Local and National SMS valid for 30 Days.

BSNL also introduced one new pan India SMS STV 147, offers 3000 Local and National SMS (any network) with 60 days validity.

Note :

  1. The above revision will be implemented with effect from 15 August, 2013
  2. As per TRAI regulation, above SMS tariff is applicable up to 100 SMS per day and  All the SMS beyond 100SMS per day will be charged Rs.0.50/SMS or SMS charges as per Base Tariff whichever is higher.
  3. The MRP of the SMS STVs is flexible of Rs 3 (+/-) of above price, depending upon local market condition and technical feasibilities available from circle to circle.
