Airtel launches new international roaming packs offers 5 hours of free incoming calls

Airtel has launched international roaming packs for its customers with up to 5 hours of free incoming calls for its postpaid segment travelling to countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, Germany, the United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom would get up to two hours of non-chargeable incoming calls.




Airtel subscribers can also make outgoing calls for Rs 40 per minute through these special packs.Airtel subscribers traveling to the U.S. will get up to five hours of non-chargeable incoming calls and make outgoing calls for Rs 20 per minute using these packs.

Airtel prepaid subscribers travelling to a select countries would get outgoing and incoming call rates of Rs 20 per minute on recharge packs of Rs 779 and Rs 1,479, along with full talk-time on these packs. The packs can be used both for international roaming and also in India.

This is not the first time airtel is offering free incoming calls in roaming back in November 2012 airtel offered free roaming to its customers in Africa.
