Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, a Government of India Enterprise and India's largest telecommunications service provider is going to revise its 2G and 3G prepaid tariffs. This move comes as per with other operators' hiking base tariff. The new tariff of BSNL will go on roll from 15.12.2012
Now the lifetime prepaid comes with a local onnet calling at 90p/minute, local offnet calling Re1/min. Video call rate is now Rs 2/minute. On per second plan local onnet calling will be at 1.2p/second, local offnet calling at 1.5p/second and video call rateis now 4paisa/second. Per minute plan comes with local onnet calling at 60p/minute, local offnet calling 70p/min and video call rate is now Rs 2/minute.

BSNL also withdraws existing special tariff vouchers for '1p/sec' and 'all@49' and intros similar STVs - STV 25 for Per Sec customers and STV 19 for Per Minute customers - both gives tariff validity for 90 days.
Note that the value of the tariff voucher may be +/- Rs 5, as circles can adjust these considering local market condition.
BSNL also revised price of broadband modems. Now onwards all types of modems will be priced Rs 300 more. This extra pricing will give extra 3 years of maintenance services excluding 2 years of warranty period for those are buying modems from BSNL as outright purchase or having modems on rental. Note that the rental for modems will be same.
