The Vivo Z1X will be an upgraded variant of the Vivo Z1 Pro that was launched just a few weeks ago in the country. The Z1 Pro is the first smartphone from Vivo in its new Z series and it was focussed at the gamers. The Vivo Z1 Pro arrived with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset, but it did not offer any modern trends like the in-display fingerprint scanner or 48MP rear camera. According to the rumours floating on the web, the upcoming Vivo Z1X will replace the 16MP primary camera on the Z1 Pro with a 48MP rear camera, along with an AMOLED display on the front.

Vivo Z1X: What to Expect from the Upcoming Smartphone?

The Vivo Z1 Pro is an excellent mid-range smartphone as it was the first one to offer Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset. The upcoming Vivo Z1X may also feature the same chipset, but in other aspects, we might see the company making some upgrades. Firstly, the Vivo Z1X may feature a 48MP primary rear camera, replacing the 16MP shooter we found the rear side of the Vivo Z1 Pro. Furthermore, the Vivo Z1X may also ship with an AMOLED display, thus allowing the company to add an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.

Vivo's Z-series of phones are online-only ones and the company will be pricing them aggressively. That being said, rumours also indicate the Vivo Z1X will also be priced inside Rs 20,000 price point. The Vivo Z1 Pro started at Rs 14,990 in India and it arrived in three variants- 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. It will be interesting to see in how many variants the Vivo Z1X will arrive.

Vivo Z1 Pro: Specifications and Features

The Vivo Z1 Pro sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and it's also the first phone in the segment to offer a punch-hole display. Underneath, it arrived with the Snapdragon 712 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.

The Vivo Z1 Pro features 16MP camera on the back with f/1.8 aperture and 2MP depth sensor. The Z1 Pro has a 32MP front-facing camera which may also feature on the Vivo Z1X as well. Aimed at the gamers, the Z1 Pro also has a gaming mode which comes with several new features to help the gamers. Lastly, it's backed by a 5000mAh battery to accompany the long gaming sessions.
