First of all , can you prove that 3G is a success in all the Indian operators in all the Indian states?. Then talk about 4G and later technologies.

No secondary camera, no auto focus, no video stabilization.

*Xolo Q800 has a secondary camera with 1 mp and auto focus on the main camera at the same price .But still you ll come up with excuses like 3rd class design,no quad band 3G support and stuffs like that

*You cant have both quantity and quality at the same price.
Either compromise on quantity or quality.

*The sony E1 dual is one of the best low-end smartphone with a 4 inch screen, dual core cortex A7 processor and a adreno 302 GPU.

I recommend Indian/ Chinese brands like MMX, Karbonn, XOLO, LAVA etc if some one is looking for handset below 15k. Reason: 1. They provide pretty high end hardware… 2. All the International brand ( Samsung, Sony, LG ) are failed to provide timely update for their low end devices. All devices are stuck with same os what they have provided at the time of release( May reload rooted os- Not as stable as real one) 3. Look and feel: for the hard are what local brand provides, which can run launcher smoothly. so with different launchers, UI can be modified.… Read more »

@Abhay: 1- I don’t fully agree with that.. Most come on MTK Processors… My personal experience has taught me to go with Qualcomm Snapdragon..!! 2- Not much, My friends XOLO has not received a single updated to date..! Even Micromax is the same. Not a SINGLE Update! Whereas, my LG Optimus L5 (released, Feb. 2012) received timely updates and a Jelly Bean update, and there are rumors it may even get a KitKat upgrade (I wish!) 3- Support that! Brands like Samsung customize heavily with TouchWiz which cause lags more sooner! Indian/Chinese do not modify much and give a nearly… Read more »

Will anyone buy mobiles from the third class companies whose service and durability is worst?.

March 21, 2014 9:05 am 9:05 AM

For using the mobile in 3G network worldwide, you need tri or quadband 3G support. None of the third class companies (not the branded ones) are providing this feature and many other features (optical image and video stabilization, gorilla glass, AMOLED display, auto brightness sensor, auto focus camera, USG OTG support etc) in their phones which they* are calling as high end phones !!!.

* means – the manufacturing company

Can you point a ‘single high end phone’ from the third class company having ALL the above mentioned features?.

Keep in mind that I am still using the Nokia’s flagship products Nokia N79 (bought in February 2010)* $, Nokia 5320 express music (bought in September 2009)*, Nokia 1280 (bought in April 2012) along with my N8.
* means – only the battery cover became loose.
$ means – The standby time of the battery has reduced only by 40%.

5320 gave excellent picture clarity provided that we don’t shake our hands in any manner while taking pictures.

If you are using this phone just for online texting, voice calls, it is ok. For real audio crispness and bass effects and frequent camera usage, you need mid to high range phone for it.

I am using both quality and quantity in my Nokia N8 which offers great picture and video clarity and best battery backup of upto 3 days 10 hours (when kept in idle GSM ringing mode without any background data or task going on) against most of the google android phones which give only 1 day or 1.25 day in WiFi standby (without any background tasks running) that too in flight mode !!!. Except web browsing, everything rocks in my mini jukebox Nokia N8. I have bought it for Rs.19800 on 28th August 2010 with original Nokia warranty as a new… Read more »
