TATA Docomo Sponsors Short Films Screening at Mumbai

On the line of DO-The-New, TATA DOCOMO, India’s youngest and fastest growing GSM mobile service operator will sponsor the short films screening  at the Kalaghoda festival 2010 to encourage the upcoming talent in association with  SHAMIANA which is the India’s fastest growing short film club. The club is passionate about showcasing the finest short films from the country and across the world.

The screening of short films in the Kalaghoda festival is pursuant to the TATA DOCOMO’ Mini-Movie Contest that was announced in November 2009. The winner of this contest will get an opportunity to work as the assistant director in Kunal Deshmukh’s (the young Bollywood director) next venture. The categories were The Best Short Film,The Best Movie Shot with a mobile phone, and  The Director’s Favourite.

The screenings will include Shoonyata, a Red Carpet film at the New York film festival this year and Yeh Jahan, a film by upcoming director Amit Khanna that will premiere at this year’s festival. In keeping with the Buddynet theme of TATA DOCOMO, films made by a group of friends will also be part of the screenings.

Speaking on TATA DOCOMO’s association with SHAMIANA, Mr. Abdul Khan, Advisor to the MD and Head of TATA DOCOMO marketing – Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd. said, “We at TATA DOCOMO believe in inspiring people to unleash their creativity, and short films are a perfect medium to do this. Our association has been very successful and we are particularly pleased that this is being showcased at the iconic Kalaghoda festival.”

There are various offers for billing customers but not for prepaid customer,,,
why don’t you launch the RC 99/95 plan where as in we were getting some value talk time freee every month till one year and FREE talk to TATA [email protected] ,TATA INDICONa nd Virgin phones

They already have FullOnBol which is still better @ Rs98/year with 5Lakh secs FREE to Docomo

Uninor’s offnet plan is too costlier than other as it hass daily rental….
