On the line of “Next Is What” Samsung the leading mobile handset market player, today commercially launched its new OMH CDMA Mobile phone “Samsung Corby Speed” the young phone for Indian market.

The Samsung Corby Speed is first touch screen mobile handset on the CDMA platform by Samsung Electronics. Samsung Corby Speed gives data speed of up to 2.4 Mbps. The phone supports full Service (Voice + Data) across all CDMA operators OMH SIM Cards.




The Samsung Corby Speed compatible with OMH SIM (RUIM) of Tata Indicom, Reliance Mobile and MTS India. Another CDMA operator Virgin Mobile  is also going to launch its OMH SIM Card by Janurary 10 after that Virgin Mobile subscriber also able to get the advantage of this Young Phone.

Samsung Corby Speed comes in attractive 3 vibrant colors Fashion Jackets Yellow , White and Black, a youthful User Interface and pop-style contours and curved body design. The phone has a 2 Mega Pixel camera, 2.8" display, music player, FM with recording and 80 MB internal memory expandable up to 8GB with a MicroSD.

Corby Speed also specially tailored for young Customers with instant access of Social Networking sites. It has one touch access to all popular 8 social networking sites include Facbook, MySpace and Twitter.

The Samsung Corby Speed users can update their current status and access friends’ updates, live feeds on Facebook,  MySpace and Twitter. The handset also supports various social networking community sites by integrating leading User Generated Content sites such as Flickr, Picasa and Photobucket and other popular SNS sites including Facebook, MySpace and Friendster directly into the handsets user interface. User can upload photo & video to these SNS and User Generated Content sites.

The Samsung Corby Speed CDMA mobile phone will be retail in India at Rs10, 400.
