Realme XT Pro will likely launch as the most affordable phone in the market to offer a 90Hz refresh rate screen. According to Wang Derek, the product manager at Realme China, a Realme phone is coming soon with 90Hz display and it will be cheaper than the OnePlus 7T. For the unaware, the upcoming OnePlus 7T is already confirmed to come with a 90Hz screen and it will be less expensive than the OnePlus 7 Pro that's available at Rs 48,999 right now. We first heard about the Realme XT Pro a few days and the report claimed the device would have Snapdragon 730G chipset, taking on the Redmi K20 smartphone from Xiaomi. Now it's expected that the same Realme XT Pro will pack a 90Hz screen, but there are some chances that the rumoured Realme phone may also be the company's flagship smartphone with Snapdragon 800 series chipset. That said, the device name is not confirmed by Realme as of now.

Realme XT Pro: What We Know So Far?

The Realme XT Pro could launch as the premium version of Realme XT that's coming to India on September 13. Going by the rumours, the Realme XT Pro will most likely be the Realme XT with some upgrades to the hardware. The XT Pro is rumoured to ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset which we earlier saw on the likes of Oppo Reno 2 and Samsung Galaxy A80. But Realme XT Pro could be the cheaper phone in the market with Snapdragon 730G SoC when it launches as the Reno 2 and Galaxy A90 are available at over Rs 35,000.

Also, the new Weibo post by Realme product manager reveals a new Realme phone is in the works with 90Hz screen and he also confirmed it would be cheaper than the upcoming OnePlus phone. The upcoming OnePlus phone is the OnePlus 7T. Since the Realme XT Pro is tipped to use Snapdragon 730G chipset that's aimed at the gamers, it makes complete sense for the company to add a 90Hz screen on the smartphone.

Other rumoured specs of the Realme XT Pro include a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner and waterdrop notch. It may arrive with a bigger 4500mAh battery to offer uninterrupted gaming sessions to the users.

Realme XT Launching in India on September 13

In other news, Realme has confirmed that the Realme XT will reach the Indian market first on September 13. Notably, the Realme XT will be the first phone in the Indian market with a 64MP Quad-Camera setup on the rear side. Xiaomi did not reveal when the Redmi Note 8 Pro is coming to India, so until then, the Realme XT will be the first phone with a 64MP rear-facing camera sensor.

The Realme XT is a beefed-up version of the Realme 5 Pro that was launched a few days ago. The smartphone will have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 712 SoC, 4000mAh battery, VOOC 3.0 charging support, 64MP quad-camera setup and ColorOS software. At the Realme XT launch event on September 13, we might see the brand dropping hints about the Realme XT Pro as well.
