OnePlus has just launched the OnePlus 13 5G and the OnePlus 13R 5G for the Indian market. This is India’s first flagship smartphone launch in 2025, and certainly one of the most exciting ones. OnePlus 13 5G comes with a 5th-generation Hasselblad camera system fine-tuned to produce original colours of the subjects. There’s a large battery on the OnePlus 13 5G and an even larger one in the OnePlus 13R 5G. While the OnePlus 13 5G is an out-and-out premium phone, one can’t deny that the OnePlus 13R 5G is not. Let’s quickly go over the prices of the devices and then look at their specifications.
OnePlus 13 5G will go on sale starting January 10, 2025. It will be available in three memory variants:
12GB + 246GB for Rs 69,999
16GB + 512GB for Rs 76,999
24GB + 1TB for Rs 89,999

OnePlus 13 5G Specifications in India
OnePlus 13 5G comes with a 6.82-inch screen with support for 3168×1440 pixels, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 4500nits of peak brightness, and 510ppi (pixel density). It uses new Crystal Shield Ultra-Ceramic Glass for protection. The device features the new “ultrasonic fingerprint” sensor, a first for any OnePlus phone. There’s a new Glove Touch for interacting with the deviceeven without taking off gloves. Of course, there’s Rain Touch, which also came with OnePlus 12 5G.
OnePlus 13 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on TSMC’s 3nm process, keeping in mind AI (artificial intelligence) needs. There’s up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage this time. There’s a 6000mAh battery with support for 100W wired-fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
There’s a triple-camera system at the rear of the OnePlus 13 5G, headlined by a 50MP primary f/1.6, 23mm OIS camera, a 50MP f/2.6, 73mm telephoto sensor, and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle sensor. The telephoto sensor supports 3x optical zoom, and 120x digital zoom. The camera system is again fine-tuned by Hasselblad. For seflies and video calling, there’s a 32MP sensor at the front.
OnePlus 13 5G will run on Android 15 based OxygenOS 15 out of the box. Oh and yes, the OnePlus 13 is IP68 and IP69 certified.
OnePlus 13R 5G features a 6.78-inch display with support for 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and Corning Glass Victus 2 on top for protection. It will also run on Android 15 based OxygenOS 15 out of the box. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
There’s a triple-camera setup at the rear of the OnePlus 13R 5G with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto sensor with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies, there’s a 16MP sensor at the front. The device features a 6000mAh battery with support for 80W fast-charging.
