The Moto Z Force is a variant of the Moto Z with a larger battery and ShatterShield screen, similar to the Moto X Force. Except for the battery and screen size, rest all the specs stay the same on both the devices. The Moto Z features a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display and a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button. The device is embodied in metal and is surprisingly thin at 5.2mm. It is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It bears 32GB/64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. Interestingly, the device is made up of “aircraft-grade aluminium and stainless steel”.

There is a 13MP rear camera onboard with dual-tone LED flash, optical image stabilization (OIS) and laser autofocus, along with a wide-angle 5MP selfie camera with LED flash. Motorola touts the device to be “water-repellant” which can handle water splashes. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Just like the LeEco Le 2, this one has also ditched the 3.5mm audio jack for the USB Type-C audio connector that is touted to deliver better sound output. However, Motorola will provide a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter along with the device package.
