Karbonn A11+ Launched For RS 5,849

Karbonn has been quite offensive off late in the Indian budget smartphone scenario and has been launching quite a lot of devices. The company has launched yet another device which will be present in entry level segment. Karbonn A11+ is the device we are talking about and it bears quite a lot of resemblance to the HTC Desire SV in terms of looks. It has been priced at Rs 5,899.

Specifications of Karbonn A11+
Karbonn A11 ·4.7 inches screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels
·Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
·1GHz processor
·3.2MP primary camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera
·512MB RAM
·512MB internal memory which can be expanded via a memory card by 32GB
·2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
·1,450 mAh battery
·Dual SIM (GSM+GSM)
·Black and White colour options

Our Take: It comes with a pretty big screen but at the same time runs on an older version of Android. It might be good for someone who is upgrading from a feature phone but other than that, it does not make for a very good buy.

Take a look at Huawei Y300. It is selling like hot cakes because of value for money package. Also this phone has set new price standard in the market.

Umm, you shouldn’t be insulting TT like this since telecom covers mobile phones too.

However, TT and of course the new writers must take a note not to make any comparision between any two mobile phones and also never ever compare Micromax with Nokia. I hate those stupid crap phones of Micromax. Someone may like it too but that encourages fan war between the sections.

New writers must maintain the same neutrality of the article like those of RDB and Mr Bafna.

If you spend Rs.1000 more, you can get Samsung with 3G and Android 4.1
